Job summary

ACTION International Services LLC is seeking a Drill Rig Operator to operate, maintain, and manage drilling rigs and related equipment for boreholes and geotechnical exploration. You will ensure safe, efficient drilling operations in line with project specs, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include rig setup, monitoring parameters, sampling, data logging, and coordinating with field supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 2–5 years of drilling experience across geotechnical, mineral exploration, or water wells.
• Valid Drill Rig Operator’s license or certification where applicable.
• Knowledge of drilling fluids, downhole tools, and rig hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control drilling rigs to bore holes to required depths and specs.
• Monitor drilling parameters and adjust techniques as ground conditions change.
• Set up, position, and secure rig; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collect core, soil, or rock samples and log depths and lithology accurately.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and regular maintenance; report faults promptly.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and assist with mobilization/demobilization.
