Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to translate designs into precise 2D/3D drawings for manufacturing and construction projects in the Gulf region. You will develop models, ensure compliance with industry standards, and work closely with engineers and project managers to resolve design discrepancies.

Applicants should have ITI/ITC/Diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and hands-on AutoCAD experience in 2D drafting and piping/layout drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate engineering designs and sketches into precise technical drawings using CAD software.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models for manufacturing, construction, or product development.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

Minimum Education qualification shall be ITI/ITC/DiplomaExperience and certification in AutoCAD. Experience in 2D Drafting, Printing and PlottingAbility to develop engineering drawings from Hand Sketches, Mark up drawings.Modifying and Editing Skills in AutoCAD native filesKnowledge to make , Plot Plan, Piping Layouts, Fabrication drawings, Piping Isometric, Tie-in drawings & Civil GAs etc. Experience in Piping & Equipment GA preparation & detailed sectional drawings preparation. Experience in preparation and review of different types of pipeline drawings like Pipeline typical drawings, Pipeline Route Maps, Field Layouts, Station Approach Drawings, HDD drawings etc. Experience in survey route sketch preparation, Preparation of Topographical drawings & Preparation of Weld map. Experience in interdisciplinary clash check by superimposing Civil, Instrumentation, Piping, Mechanical & Electrical drawings. Preparation of Red line Marks drawings as per the as per site conditions. Experience in preparing TAG request for the Client requirements. Experience in updating E&I drawings such as Single line diagram, Interconnection diagrams, Loop Drawings etc. Minimum knowledge in 3D drawings and presentationsExperience in MS Office usage. Communication skills in English

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Age Criteria

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and Senior Positions

A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
