Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
• Develop data center floor layouts, rack elevations, containment systems and equipment placement drawings
• Create electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling drawings for data center facilities
• Prepare single‑line diagrams, cable routing drawings and infrastructure layouts
• Generate detailed shop drawings and construction drawings for project execution
• Coordinate with Data Center Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects and Project Managers
• Review engineering designs and incorporate revisions into project drawings
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs and document control records
• Prepare and update as‑built drawings based on site changes and project completion
• Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Ensure designs comply with TIA‑942 Data Center Standards, BICSI Standards, Uptime Institute Guidelines, Local Authority Requirements and Project Design Specifications

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in Data Centers, MEP, Telecommunications, or Critical Infrastructure projects
