Job summary

Aquarius Worldwide in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare detailed mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for diverse projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit MEP is essential to produce shop, coordination and as-built drawings while ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

You will coordinate with architectural, structural and civil teams, maintain drawing registers, and support BIM coordination and clash detection where

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP for MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of local authority regs and industry standards.
• Experience with shop, coordination, and as-built drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV layouts.
• Prepare equipment layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, cable tray layouts, and schematic diagrams.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Modify drawings based on engineer comments, consultant feedback, and site conditions.
• Assist in BIM coordination and clash detection where applicable.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and document control.
• Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Site Engineers.
• Support project execution by providing timely drawing revisions and technical drafting assistance.
