Job summary

Client of AQJOBS in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare precise Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing drawings for diverse projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit MEP is required to produce shop, coordination and as-built drawings according to standards.

The role involves developing HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm and ELV layouts, coordinating with architectural, structural and civil teams, and maintaining drawing registers and revision

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Ability to produce shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings.
• Experience in developing HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm and ELV layouts.
• Proficiency in preparing equipment layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, cable tray layouts, and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Experience in modifying drawings based on engineer comments, consultant feedback, and site conditions.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.
• Experience in maintaining drawing registers, revision logs, and document control.
• Good coordination with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants and Site Engineers.
• Ability to support project execution by providing timely drawing revisions and technical drafting assistance.
