Job Description
As a Door Attendant at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests. You will provide a warm, professional welcome, assist with luggage, and ensure a safe, efficient, and stylish experience that reflects the playful and dynamic SO/ brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and escorting when necessary.
- Open and close vehicle doors for guests and ensure safe and courteous transportation service.
- Maintain the entrance, driveway, and lobby area clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist guests with directions, luggage handling, and any special requests, escalating issues to the Bell Captain or Guest Services team as needed.
- Coordinate with valet, bell, and front office teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
- Monitor safety and security of guests, vehicles, and property in the entrance and driveway area.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries with accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Uphold professional appearance, grooming standards, and SO/ brand service expectations at all times.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines consistently.
- Assist with lost and found items, reporting any issues to the Guest Services Manager.
- Support other departments as needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services, door, or valet roles in luxury hotels or resorts preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Professional, approachable, and confident demeanor.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, assist with luggage, and handle vehicles safely.
- Knowledge of hotel facilities and local area is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
