Job summary

China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation seeks an experienced Document Controller in the UAE. The role requires 8–12 years of document control experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects and hands-on use of Aconex or EDMS.

You will manage MDRs, document numbering, revisions, transmittals, and approvals, coordinating with clients, PMC/EPCM consultants, and EPC contractors. Strong Excel/Word skills and UAE availability are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of document control experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Experience working directly with clients, PMC/EPCM consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Familiarity with MDR, document numbering, revision control, transmittals and approval workflows.
• Hands-on with Aconex or EDMS and other client document management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Available to work in UAE and join immediately.
• Experience with ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy is preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8-12 years of Document Control experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Must have strong client-level experience working directly with clients, PMC/EPCM consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Experience with major Oil & Gas clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, or similar organizations is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Aconex, EDMS, or other client document management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Master Document Registers (MDR), document numbering, revision control, transmittals, and document approval workflows.
• Experience managing engineering drawings, technical documents, vendor documents, QA/QC records, and project correspondence.
• Ability to coordinate document reviews, approvals, comments, and final project handover documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with client representatives, consultants, and project teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Candidates must be currently available in the UAE and able to join immediately.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience working on major Oil & Gas EPC projects with direct client and PMC coordination, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
