Job summary

talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Director of Special Projects & Performance to drive regional performance and strategic initiatives across eight markets. The role blends high-level leadership with hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced tech and delivery environment.

You will partner with the CIO, oversee AI-driven analytics, and lead a small team to execute complex projects across markets, ensuring alignment with regional business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-growth tech, strategy, or management roles.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region on a regular basis.
• Strong financial modeling and budgeting capabilities.
• Highly analytical with ability to operate at ExCo level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional performance and P&L across Food and Q-commerce markets.
• Lead cross-market strategic initiatives and act as CIO partner.
• Drive turnaround projects and end-to-end strategic delivery.
• Identify AI opportunities and drive adoption across performance teams.
• Develop and coach a lean, high-performing team.
