Job summary

AECOM in Dubai seeks an Associate Director - Structures to lead the team delivering design information and coordinating with other disciplines. The role requires technical reviews, quality management, and sharing expertise through internal communications and presentations.

Designs follow AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes and other international codes. Travel within GCC and site inspections may be required; strong leadership and stakeholder liaison are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master of Science/Engineering preferred; PhD highly preferred.
• Chartered Engineer (MIStructE) or Professional Engineer (PE) highly preferred.
• PMP, RMP or equivalent Project Management certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for bridges and underground structures; oversee all design stages.
• Coordinate with CAD/BIM for drawings and BIM models; ensure fully coordinated deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and quality reviews of calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate with client and key stakeholders; travel within GCC as required.
• Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort/man-hours.
• Monitor budget for specific tasks and support project execution within scope.
• Assist business development and bids with technical input and client communications.
