Job summary

Sephora Middle East is seeking a Director of Retail & Omnichannel Technology to define and execute technology strategy across store, omnichannel and digital platforms. You will lead Retail Solutions, Omnichannel Solutions & Digital Engineering, delivering scalable, secure technology aligned with business goals.

You will partner with global teams, manage budgets, and build a high-performing regional team, driving innovation in payments, integration, and customer experiences across ME markets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in Retail Technology, Omnichannel, Digital Commerce, or related tech functions.
• Experience in large, multi-site retail environments and modernization programs.
• Proven ability to lead tech teams and partner with product owners.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Retail, POS implementation, OMS, and omnichannel journeys.
• Understanding of compliance, taxation, payment and data privacy in the ME region.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, business cases, vendors, and SLAs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Retail & Omnichannel Technology strategy and investment view.
• Own governance across architecture, delivery risk, NFRs, and lifecycle.
• Establish KPIs, availability, performance, incident trends and continuous improvement.
• Lead technology strategy for retail store capabilities (POS, devices, promotions).
• Oversee omnichannel tech roadmaps, OMS, inventory visibility and fulfillment integrations.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Infra for secure, scalable solutions.
• Build a high-performing ME tech team and manage vendor relationships.
