Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Director of Retail & Omnichannel Technology in Dubai to define the technology strategy for Sephora Middle East. You will lead Retail Solutions, Omnichannel Solutions & Support, and Digital Platforms, translating priorities into scalable roadmaps and measurable business value.

You will partner with Global technology to establish governance, drive multi-site store technology programs, and ensure secure, compliant, and resilient solutions across the region.

Qualifications

• 15 years experience in Retail Technology Omnichannel or related technology functions.
• Strong background in large multi-site retail environments managing store technology implementations and modernization programs.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technology teams and partner with product owners.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English; Arabic and/or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Retail & Omnichannel Technology strategy, roadmap and investment view aligned to business priorities.
• Own technology governance across architecture, delivery, risk, and service quality with executive reporting.
• Lead the technology lifecycle for store capabilities including POS, devices, pricing, promotions, inventory, and retail integrations.
• Drive unified commerce roadmaps for Click & Collect, ship-from-store, and clienteling.
• Oversee Digital Engineering, APIs, cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD and observability, reducing technical debt.
• Ensure compliance with UAE/regional payments, tax, data protection, and regulatory constraints.
• Build and mentor a high-performing regional technology team and manage vendors and budgets.
