Job summary

GEMS School of Research and Innovation seeks an outstanding Director of Curriculum to join the leadership team. You will lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment across the school.

Working with the Principal and senior team, you will ensure an ambitious, innovative and inclusive curriculum, reflecting the school’s priorities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject.
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/B.Ed or equivalent).
• Significant successful teaching experience in a school setting.
• Experience in curriculum leadership or senior leadership roles.
• Strong track record in design, development, implementation and QA of curricula.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment across the school.
• Provide strategic direction for curriculum development and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Principal, SLT and teachers to deliver ambitious, innovative, inclusive curricula.
• Lead professional learning on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment with coaching and collaboration.
• Drive interdisciplinary, experiential and project‑based learning while addressing diverse student needs.
