Job summary

DataRobot seeks a Director of AI Engineering within the Professional Services team to lead strategic AI programs for top-tier customers. You will build and scale a high-performance AI Engineering team, establish architectural best practices for Agentic AI and GenAI/RAG systems, and ensure solutions translate into measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive software/AI experience; at least 3 years in leadership.
• MS or PhD in CS/AI/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on‑prem deployment knowledge.
• Familiarity with DataRobot platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the most senior technical leader on major engagements, advising executives on AI strategy and governance.
• Lead and scale a team of Senior and Principal AI Engineers.
• Own the technical delivery and governance of the Professional Services portfolio, setting standards for quality and deployment.
• Define architecture and MLOps practices for scalable, secure AI solutions on DataRobot and open‑source tools.
• Represent DataRobot in the AI/ML community and drive internal innovation.
• Drive project success, manage technical risk, and maintain high customer satisfaction; travel up to 50% in GCC.
• Proficient in Arabic preferred but not required.
