Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in Dubai seeks an Indemnities/Retention specialist to manage customer exit requests and apply retention tools to minimize attrition. You will collaborate with Credit, Collections and Risk teams to propose solutions that keep the relationship while controlling risk.

The role requires strong negotiation, product knowledge, and banking systems familiarity, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of banking products, policies, and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support retention goals.
• Ability to perform initial screening of financial records and assess risks.
• Knowledge of product policies and running campaigns relevant to retention.
• Familiarity with core Banking systems used for EOSB and related activities.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role or function in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Screen customers' financial records from a credit and risk perspective and propose retention solutions.
• Prepare proposals for cases where EOSB is received to continue the borrowing relationship.
• Collaborate with Credit, Collections, Operations, and Risk to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assess customer financial stand after employer settlement and propose continuations while ensuring risk management.
• Handle indemnities-related batches and ensure alerts and earmarking are correct.
• Maintain clear internal/external communications to enhance customer experience and comply with procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and escalation of risk or process breaches to management.
• Maintain MIS records and generate weekly/monthly KPI reports for learning and improvement.
