You will coordinate with colleges, departments and centers to develop content, create editorial plans, and produce Arabic and English content that enhances the university’s digital presence and user experience.
Develop and manage the University’s digital content across its website and various digital platforms, ensuring that the content is high-quality, reflects the University’s institutional identity, improves the user experience, and supports its strategic objectives and digital transformation. General Duties Provide expertise in website content management and development, including search engine optimization (SEO) and digital accessibility standards, to ensure an effective and outstanding digital experience for different target audiences. Apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and accessibility. Ensure that digital content aligns with the University’s mission, vision, and institutional identity. Collaborate with the University’s colleges, departments, and centers to develop digital content that supports its communication and marketing needs; identify keywords and key messages supporting the SEO strategy; and ensure that content flows smoothly and is continuously updated. Develop editorial plans for digital content in coordination with the corporate communications, digital marketing, and other relevant University teams. Prepare, write, and edit digital content in Arabic and English to achieve the University’s objectives and strengthen its digital presence. Review digital content—including text, headings, images, videos, and multimedia elements—before publication. Simplify and present complex academic, research, and administrative information in a clear manner suitable for different audiences. Ensure that published information is accurate and up to date, thereby protecting the University’s reputation and credibility. Manage and update content using the content management systems (CMS) of the University’s website and affiliated digital platforms. Prepare and implement digital content plans and publishing and update schedules in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Develop and manage the editorial calendar for the University’s website and other digital pages, including periodic content updates and major institutional projects and initiatives. Provide technical support and guidance to CMS users and train them in digital content management best practices. Monitor and analyze website performance indicators and prepare periodic reports and recommendations for improvement. Use digital analytics and artificial intelligence tools to improve content quality and enhance audience engagement. Develop mechanisms and procedures for monitoring content quality and addressing feedback and errors effectively and promptly. Conduct periodic reviews of the website and digital channels and identify opportunities for ongoing development and improvement. Ensure compliance with digital governance policies and institutional standards for electronic publishing. Maintain the confidentiality of information and comply with professional ethics.
