Job summary

The Emirates Group seeks a Design and Projects Manager to plan, manage and direct facilities for in-station and out-station UAE projects and renovations. You will prepare drawings, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure design standards align with Emirates Group quality, cost and regulatory requirements.

You will lead project management for fit-outs and refurbishments, ensuring on-time delivery, value engineering and strict adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field, preferably with interior design and project management specialization.
• 8 years of experience in Facilities, Maintenance or related field.
• Experience in interiors design, fit-out and management of large-scale commercial or corporate projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and direct facilities for in-station and out-station UAE projects and designated UAE projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Establish and implement interior design standards to drive efficient cost-effective processes across properties.
• Review contractor progress and monitor delivery against schedule, quality, design and cost.
• Advise user departments on construction and renovation requirements to ensure effective delivery.

The Emirates Group Facilities Management team supports our extensive commercial hotels and residential property portfolios Their aim is to constantly improve customer satisfaction and happiness through dedicated and quality service The role of the Design amp Projects Manager is to plan manage and direct the facilities for in-station and out-station Overseas projects and designated UAE projects This includes project management fit out and or renovation work preparing drawings engineering planning and design of commercial properties in a most effective and efficient manner and in accordance with the company standards In this role you will Analyse user requirements to ensure on-time delivery and minimise deviations while developing standardised specifications and costings to drive consistency quality and cost control Plan manage and control fit out projects to ensure timely cost-effective delivery in line with Emirate Group standards while coordinating with consultants contractors and stakeholders to secure efficient completion certification Establish and implement interior design standards to drive efficient cost-effective processes across commercial properties ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Negotiate analyse and review the material and design approvals by consultants contractors and suppliers ensuring the best quality material competitive market value is obtained and the standards maintained Review contractor progress reports and monitor project delivery against schedule quality design and cost ensuring timely alignment with all stakeholders Maintain and drive compliance with building standards to ensure consistent project quality while managing construction and renovation activities and partnering with the Facilities commercial unit to develop space planning standards Advise and collaborate with user departments across UAE and outstations on construction and renovation requirements ensuring effective delivery through execution and commissioning stages

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture or related, preferably with specialisation in interior design and project management

Experience:

• 8 years of experience in Facilities, Maintenance or other related field.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience in interiors design, fit out and project management of large scale commercial or corporate projects, including contractor, consultant and stakeholder management.
