Job summary

GHD is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Design Team in Abu Dhabi, supporting multidisciplinary design projects to ensure quality, schedule and budget compliance while coordinating with Project Managers and Design Managers.

You will manage deliverables, maintain client relationships, liaise with authorities and stakeholders, and contribute to QA/QC, risk management, and BIM workflow coordination using Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Project Management.
• 47 years experience in design coordination within a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of design processes QA/QC and safety-in-design principles.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and tools (Revit Civil 3D Navisworks) and project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing design projects including schedules budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and ensure timely delivery of drawings models and reports.
• Support quality assurance processes risk management and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare progress reports dashboards and meeting documentation for internal and client reviews.
• Liaise with clients authorities and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
