Job summary

GHD is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support multidisciplinary design delivery across Property & Buildings in Abu Dhabi. You will report to the Design Manager, coordinate internal and external design teams, monitor schedules, and ensure quality and client satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in design management or multidisciplinary design consultancy.
• Experience delivering Property & Buildings projects in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of design development and project delivery.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project planning tools and BIM coordination advantageous.

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects across the Property & Buildings sector. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will assist in coordinating design teams, managing project deliverables, monitoring schedules, and ensuring successful project outcomes that meet client expectations and quality standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in design management, project coordination, or multidisciplinary design consultancy.
• Experience delivering Property & Buildings projects within the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of design development and project delivery processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
