Job summary

GHD in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Project Manager – Design Management to lead the design delivery of complex infrastructure and master planning projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to ensure high-quality, on-time outputs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or Civil Engineering with 10+ years in design management, preferably in the UAE/GCC. PMP certification is preferred; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for infrastructure and masterplanning.
• Experience preferably in UAE or GCC region.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process across Infrastructure and master planning projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (ADM, ADWEA).
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and change control processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with clients, contractors, and government entities.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract phases, including technical evaluations and tender documentation.
