Job summary

SSH seeks an experienced Design Manager – Buildings to lead the design delivery of complex, high-profile projects across the UAE. You will manage multidisciplinary design teams through all stages, ensuring architectural intent and technical quality meet client requirements.

The role emphasizes coordinating Architecture, Structures, MEP and specialists, driving design programmes, and maintaining BIM-led coordination across disciplines. UAE project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 12+ years of experience in design management of major building projects.
• Experience with hotels, resorts, mixed-use or high-rise developments in UAE/GCC is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design process from concept to tender/documentation.
• Coordinate Architecture, Structures, MEP and other disciplines for integrated design.
• Manage design programmes, deliverables and key milestones.
• Interface with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
• Drive design coordination workshops and resolve multidisciplinary issues.
• Review designs for quality, constructability and regulatory compliance.
• Support senior leadership in client relationship management.
• Mentor design team members and promote BIM-led coordination.
