Job summary

A project management consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams for building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise developments, deep knowledge of building codes, and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. This role requires excellent coordination and communication skills, combined with a strong background in consultancy environments. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of experience in building construction projects within a consultancy firm.
• At least 5 years in a Design Manager or senior design coordination role.
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, high-rise, or mixed-use developments.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the design process from concept through to IFC stage.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines for integrated designs.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and international building standards.
• Conduct regular design coordination meetings to resolve issues.
• Monitor design schedules for timely deliverables.
