Job Summary

SSH is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Manager to lead the delivery of complex Masterplan & Infrastructure projects across the UAE. This role is responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions from concept through tender stage, while maintaining compliance with project objectives, client requirements, and industry standards. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage design quality and delivery performance, and drive collaboration across disciplines to achieve efficient and commercially successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary masterplan and infrastructure design teams.
• Oversee design delivery from concept through detailed design and tender documentation.
• Develop and implement design delivery strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Ensure design outputs meet quality, budget, program, and client requirements.
• Coordinate across disciplines and manage design interfaces to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Review and approve design reports, specifications, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Provide technical guidance on design challenges, constructability, value engineering, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, proposals, and project pursuits.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and delivery methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10-12 years' experience in masterplan and infrastructure design, including leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.
• Proven consultancy experience delivering large-scale infrastructure and development projects.
• Strong understanding of design management, project delivery, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on projects in Dubai, the UAE, or the wider Middle East.
• Familiarity with Bentley and Autodesk Civil 3D applications.
• Strong understanding of BIM-enabled design delivery.
• Experience with Primavera P6, GIS (Esri), and digital delivery platforms.
