Job summary

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is looking for a qualified Kitchen Team member to support daily restaurant operations on site in Dubai. The role focuses on safe food preparation, presentation standards, and collaboration with local suppliers.

You will participate in training and uphold food safety practices, asset management, and inter-departmental cooperation to ensure guest satisfaction across outlets.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities in Restaurant Kitchen ensuring safe, smooth, profitable operation.
• Support development of restaurant concepts and standards.
• Be familiar with local market and suppliers.
• Recommend menu changes based on seasonal product availability.
• Adhere to Anantara food prep and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Suggest improvements to Anantara presentation guidelines.
• Maintain food safety and protection, including dating, storage and rotation.
• Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Maintain outlet safety at all times.
• Take responsibility for asset management of outlet property and facilities.
• Participate in training to improve departmental skills and service levels.
• Promote inter-departmental relations through open communication and cooperation.
• Maintain adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Assist in maintaining clean and sanitized food prep areas.
