Job summary

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for daily food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of quality, presenting creative dishes and maintaining clean, hygienic work areas.

You will support senior chefs, follow menu specifications, manage stock and assist with buffet setups and special functions in a fast-paced, multicultural hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training is required.
• Ability to communicate well in English.
• Proven track record in quality establishments with strong culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily operation and work.
• Work according to menu specifications by the Chef de Partie.
• Maintain hygienic kitchen conditions at all times.
• Control food stock and food cost in the section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production for main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure high standards and consistency in preparation and keep updated with new products and techniques.
• Instruct and lead subordinates in daily prep and buffet setups.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
