Job summary

You will assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff; uphold safety and cleanliness policies; maintain food logs; and communicate menu items and shortages to the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure doneness and safety.
• Maintain proper portions, arrangements, and food garnish; log quality and quantity of prepared items.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff; serve as a role model.
• Follow safety, security, and sanitation policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
