Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related work experience: At least 3 years.
• Supervisory experience: None.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters for proper cooking.
• Maintain food logs, monitor quality and quantity of prepared items, and ensure proper portions.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and coaching employees.
• Follow all safety policies, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions to the manager.
