CAE is seeking an experienced Commercial / Contracts manager in the UAE to support bidding and contract management within the Defence and Security sector. You will work with Defence & Security Strategy, BD and Programme teams to craft commercial positions, review complex agreements, and drive successful outcomes.

The role involves leading bid-team inputs, negotiating with customers, and ensuring compliance with MoD terms. A hybrid work setup is required, with travel up to ~25% within EMEA.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years supporting bids and managing commercial contracts in defence/aerospace/government procurement.
• Basic knowledge of contract law and MoD terms (e.g., DEFCONS, public procurement).
• Strong business acumen and excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Project.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a focal point for contractual matters with customers, building strong relationships.
• Review customer contracts and provide CAE position in coordination with legal counsel.
• Lead commercial/contractual input for bid proposals and documentation.
• Support negotiation strategy and participate in contract negotiations with customers.
• Ensure compliance with terms and flow-down to subcontractors where needed.
• Maintain contract records and status reports, coordinating with the Bids team.
