Job summary

CAE Inc is seeking an experienced Commercial/Contracts Manager to provide contractual and commercial support in bidding for and managing defense and security contracts within the EMEA region. The role involves acting as a focal point for customer contractual matters, reviewing agreements with CAE legal, and supporting bid teams with commercial responses and documentation.

You will negotiate contracts and amendments, ensure compliance with CAE policies, and contribute to risk and opportunity

Qualifications

Experience supporting bids and managing commercial contracts in defense, aerospace, or government procurement environments.
Strong knowledge of contract law and defence procurement terms.
Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills.
Proven negotiation abilities and ability to work under pressure with bid teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as focal point for contractual matters with customers, establishing relationships.
Review proposed customer contracts and provide CAE position with legal guidance.
Generate commercial responses to RFPs in coordination with pricing, IP and liability inputs.
Support Bid Teams with proposal documentation and risk/opportunity registers.
Assist in negotiating contracts and amendments to existing agreements.
Ensure compliance with CAE policies and terms in all contracting activities.
