Job summary

Delivery Hero in Dubai seeks a data scientist on the analysis track to improve decision quality across product and business through reliable data. You will own the data value chain, from logging and modeling to analysis, reporting and experimentation, collaborating with product managers and data engineers.

You will help design KPIs, run analyses, and mentor other data scientists while contributing to scalable data tooling and training programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent SQL skills and ability to reproduce analyses.
• Experience with data modeling and dimensional design.
• Strong end-to-end analytics from problem framing to presentation.
• Familiar with descriptive, exploratory, inferential, causal and predictive analyses.
• Experience with experiment design and analysis workflows.
• Knowledge of product data metrics and health measurements.
• Nice to have BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform exposure.
• Data engineering/pipeline experience (Airflow) is a plus.
• Experience with classical ML frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage ambiguous business problems to drive objective criteria using data.
• Develop understanding of product experiences and business processes.
• Profile data sources and systems with documentation and collaboration.
• Contribute to data models that measure performance and drivers.
• Identify questions to answer with data and collaborate with teams.
• Deliver actionable insights and automated reports for decisions.
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B, multivariate).
• Support KPI design and goal setting for product/business managers.
• Mentor other data scientists; improve tooling and training programs.
