Job summary

Delivery Hero is seeking a data scientist in Dubai to advance our algorithms and platform through data-driven decisions. You will own the data value chain from logging to modeling and experimentation, with a focus on Generative AI to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.

You will mentor other data scientists, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and help design KPI frameworks and experiments to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, and recommender systems.
• Strong SQL and reproducible data analysis with Python or R.
• Familiarity with data modeling, BigQuery, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to design and interpret experiments (A/B, multivariate).

Responsibilities

• Leveraging ambiguous business problems as opportunities to drive objective criteria using data.
• Solving complex business problems using simple algorithms to deliver business value.
• Designing and implementing ML and generative AI systems in production.
• Developing understanding of product experiences and business processes.
• Profiling source data and collaborating with engineers.
• Maintaining data models to measure performance and drivers.
• Working with product teams to answer key questions with data.
• Delivering insights and automated reports for decision making.
• Designing experiments and KPIs with stakeholders.
• Mentoring other data scientists.
