Job summary

Murphy AI in Dubai is seeking a Data Scientist to build the Murphy brain—the ML that decides who to contact, when, and how, to recover debt within hard legal limits. You own the data problem and shape the strategies guiding every call.

We require 2+ years shipping ML in production with proficiency in Python and TS, plus rigorous experimental design and causal inference. You will collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years shipping ML in production and moving business metrics.
• Experience turning models into actions and measuring impact.
• Expertise in experimental design and causal inference for real-world data.
• Ability to ship production code and monitor models in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the contact strategy and channels to maximise recovery within legal guardrails.
• Model the debtor with propensity and uplift models that guide live segments for agents.
• Design and analyse experiments (A/B tests, bandits) to lift recovery and ship improvements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to define solutions and improve key metrics.
