Job summary

Talents Tide in Dubai seeks a Data Management Section Manager to lead the data strategy, architecture, and governance across institutional and sectoral datasets. You will guide analysts, develop policies, and ensure secure, compliant data operations aligned with government standards.

You will oversee data maturity, central databases, and collaborations with Digital Dubai to enable data-driven decisions at the senior level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, MIS, Computer Engineering, Data Analysis or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and apply industry trends to strategy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the section's annual operational plan with targets and budget.
• Develop data management policies and monitor team compliance.
• Design data architecture to accelerate analysis and reporting.
• Oversee data operation and archiving standards aligned with government policies.
• Review data documents and reports for quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Digital Dubai and IT to implement integrated data management.
• Conduct data maturity reviews and develop improvement plans.
• Manage central database development to support decision-making.
• Ensure information security and health and safety policies.
