Job summary

Amazon Data Services Emirates LLC is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join our DC operations team in Abu Dhabi. You will operate and maintain world‑class mechanical and electrical infrastructure, following a process‑driven approach to ensure uptime and safety.

You will manage rotating shifts, monitor readings, supervise contractors, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements that reduce costs while maintaining reliability for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar technical focus.
• Knowledge of electrical competencies and theory.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC, Controls).

Responsibilities

• Support electrical and mechanical equipment in data centers, including UPS, switchgear, ATS, gensets.
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC and fire/life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot facility events within internal SLAs and perform root cause analysis.
