Job summary

Damac Properties is seeking a senior QA/QC leader for data centre projects in the UAE. Define and own QA/QC strategy aligned to ISO 9001, leading across design, procurement, construction and commissioning to meet Tier III/IV and client requirements.

You will establish inspection plans, manage NCRs, drive improvements, set KPIs and report to executive management. The role requires building a strong QA/QC organization and delivering auditable handover records for operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC and construction quality management experience.
• Minimum 10 years in data centre projects (Tier III/IV) preferred.
• Lead Auditor ISO 9001 or similar certifications preferred; UAE/GCC experience advantageous.
• Excellent English communication, reporting and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the data centre QA/QC strategy and standards aligned to ISO 9001.
• Lead QA across design review, procurement, construction and installation.
• Establish inspection/test plans, FAT/SAT and hold-point regimes for all disciplines.
• Oversee IST and commissioning quality; witness testing and handover documentation.
• Audit contractors and suppliers, drive corrective actions and NCR closure.
• Set quality KPIs and dashboards; report trends to executive management and Board.
• Develop the QA/QC organisation, hire mentors and build capability.
• Manage QA/QC budget, resources and third‑party inspection/testing services.
