Data Center Customer Operations II - Equinix, Dubai is seeking an entry-level operator to support semi-routine tasks within established procedures. You will assist with rack and stack, cable management, and asset updates for customer-facing data center operations in Dubai.

The role emphasizes adherence to service commitments, detailed record-keeping, and collaboration with teams to ensure smooth installations and cross-connects.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews work order requests in the queue and responds to semi-routine work orders by adhering to commitment times
• Escalates and expedites orders to appropriate teams upon standard operating procedures; supervision needed on the escalation of non-standard procedures
• Ensures adherence to commit times within standard operating procedures
• Maintains detailed written records of all work activity
• Updates local asset databases and other systems
• Rack and stack semi-routine customer equipment tickets
• Supports intra-cage infrastructure installations following SOPs for semi-routine customer installs
• Supports semi-routine datacenter cross-connect work orders and cable management
• Supports testing and installations of customer assets per SOPs
• Provides back-up assistance to team members and supports breaks or other activities
• Interacts with customers on-site, supports access control and escorting services
• Supports fulfillment of standard projects and vendor coordination
• Completes trainings in a timely manner and may support new hires
