Confidential Company invites a Data Centre Operator to join its Dubai, UAE site for a 12‑month+ extendable, onsite assignment. The role requires 5–10 years of data centre operations experience, handling servers, network gear, racks, power, cooling, and related infrastructure.
You will monitor, install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, coordinate with vendors, maintain cabling and asset records, and ensure security and change control procedures are followed.

Perform day-to-day operational support and monitoring of data centre infrastructure.
Monitor servers, network equipment, racks, power, cooling, environmental conditions, and other critical infrastructure.
Perform physical checks and inspections of data centre equipment and facilities.
Install, rack, stack, cable, label, and decommission servers, switches, routers, and other network equipment.
Perform hardware installation, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Assist with server and network equipment deployments, upgrades, relocations, and removals.
Manage and maintain structured cabling and ensure proper cable labelling and organization.
Monitor equipment alarms and environmental alerts and escalate critical issues promptly.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and operational checks.
Coordinate with data centre vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and technical activities.
Manage physical access procedures for data centre areas and ensure compliance with security requirements.
Support equipment delivery, receiving, inventory, asset tagging, and equipment disposal activities.
Maintain accurate records of racks, equipment, cabling, assets, and data centre activities.
Follow data centre change management, incident management, and escalation procedures.
Assist with planned maintenance activities and ensure proper coordination to minimize service disruption.
Respond to hardware and infrastructure incidents and coordinate with relevant technical teams for resolution.
Follow data centre safety, security, operational, and business continuity procedures.
Provide hands‑on support during emergency incidents, system outages, and infrastructure‑related events when required.
