Microsoft Dubai is seeking a Data Centre Technician to stage, set up and perform hardware deployments, troubleshooting, and decommissions in our Dubai data centres. You will follow standard operating procedures, support safety and security protocols, and collaborate with peers to ensure smooth operations.

The role offers on-site work across multiple Dubai sites, with on-call duties and hands‑on training to accelerate growth within Microsoft's CO+I data centre environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year supporting IT equipment.
• Willingness for on-site travel between Dubai data centres.
• On-call readiness one week per month.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures and replaces faulty components with minimal disruption.
• Ensures grounding, labelling, and cabling meet safety protocols and deployment standards.
• Decommissions hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
• Communicates, reports, and escalates incidents to data centre operations and engineering teams.
• Guides and assists other technicians to complete tasks.
• Completes required training and observes experienced technicians for hands‑on learning.
• Contributes to a positive team environment and keeps others informed of progress.
• Maintains service quality and accountability for data centre facilities.

Education
