Job summary

Ramboll in Dubai seeks a Design Manager / Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery for large multidisciplinary data-centre and mission-critical facility projects, defining scope, managing schedules, and ensuring design quality.

You will lead a team across mechanical, electrical, ELV/IBMS, architecture, and civil disciplines, engage clients and senior stakeholders, and drive risk, change control, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 8 years of project management or design management experience.
• At least 5 years managing data-centre or mission-critical facility projects.
• Experience leading teams of engineers across multiple disciplines and geographies.
• Ability to identify schedule/budget risks early and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary project interface with clients and senior stakeholders, leading design review meetings and executive steering sessions.
• Continuously engage clients on deliverables, priorities, risks and schedule/budget performance, surfacing issues early.
• Resolve scope ambiguities and conflicts between client needs and project constraints.
• Lead BIM coordination workflow and ensure outputs are coordinated and constructible.
• Review design for buildability and operability, and manage change requests with formal processes.
• Develop and maintain the master project schedule and monitor delays with corrective actions.
