Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Principal ELV/IBMS Engineer to lead end-to-end ELV system design and IBMS architecture for mission-critical data centre projects in the Dubai region. You will own integration strategies, drive technical decisions, and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, security, and IT teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.

You will engage with clients, SOC teams, and multidisciplinary design teams, while contributing to vendor evaluations, FAT/SAT testing, and handover.

Qualifications

• BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Telecom Engineering.
• Professional registration or equivalent standing as an engineer.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary ELV/IBMS technical contact for clients and lead system architecture discussions.
• Define ELV/IBMS architecture including BMS/EPMS/DCIM integration and security systems.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, fire safety, IT and SOC workflows across the project lifecycle.
• Lead testing procedures including FAT, SAT, IST and operator handover documentation.
• Mentor ELV engineers and establish design standards for IBMS in the region.
