Job summary

TAQA Distribution is seeking a Manager, Data and AI Governance to establish and continuously improve its governance framework, ensuring data assets are accurate, secure, and used responsibly in line with regulatory obligations.

Reporting to the VP, Data Management, you will lead policy management, metadata, data quality, AI ethics oversight, and compliance monitoring while shaping TAQA as a data-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent is required.
• 9 years + of relevant working experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and mature the data and AI governance framework.
• Coordinate with leaders to ensure governance policies are adopted.
• Govern data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage across the data platform and enterprise systems.
• Oversee data quality management and remediation of data quality issues.
• Establish AI governance and responsible AI framework and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Ensure privacy compliance and regulatory alignment across TAQA's data landscape.
• Lead and develop the data governance team and foster data stewardship.
