Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager - Cyber Security with deep expertise in data privacy and protection to lead engagements across the MENA region. You will work with clients to design and implement privacy frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed privacy by design across organizations.

You will collaborate with legal, compliance and IT teams while mentoring junior staff. Key responsibilities include leading PIAs/DPIAs, advising on GDPR and UAE privacy laws, and developing governance models, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, cyber security or related field.
• Excellent communication skills with a consulting mindset.
• 6-7 years of experience in Data Privacy and Protection.
• Valid passport for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy and data protection programs including PIAs and DPIAs.
• Advise on regulatory compliance with GDPR, UAE laws and international standards.
• Design/privacy governance frameworks and operating models.
• Provide guidance on Privacy by Design and data risk management.
• Evaluate and implement privacy tools and technology controls.
• Oversee privacy audits, readiness assessments and regulatory responses.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams on data protection strategies.
• Deliver training on data privacy principles and practices.
