Job summary

Dicetek LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Data Protection Officer with deep knowledge of UAE privacy laws and global data protection standards to advise the bank on compliance matters.

The role leads cross-functional groups, monitors regulatory changes, and coordinates third‑party contracts to ensure privacy requirements are met across data processing activities, inventories, and security practices within BFSI.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in local or international Data Protection in BFSI.
• Hands-on experience implementing data protection regulations.
• Expertise in data protection laws and regulations such as CBUAE Consumer Data Protection, UAE Privacy Laws, and applicable global data protection requirements.
• Preferred certifications include CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CDPO, etc.
• Strong knowledge of information security, data protection, and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Bank's policies and procedures in accordance with data protection laws and regulations such as CBUAE Consumer Data Protection, UAE Privacy Laws, and applicable global data protection requirements, and advise the business on data protection and privacy matters.
