Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative for Cardio in Qatar. You will collaborate with management to create territory plans, evaluate progress monthly, and work with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Value & Access teams to meet objectives.

You will engage with district managers to enhance product knowledge and handle customer relations within the Amgen framework. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with pharma sales experience; cardiovascular or biotech background is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of achieving results.
• Experience in Cardiovascular, Endocrinology or Biotechnology fields preferred.
• Experience with CRM databases and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-accountability for achieving goals.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans.
• Evaluate progress versus plan monthly and adjust with manager.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to align on key account plan objectives/responsibilities.
• Interact with peers and District Manager to improve product knowledge.
• Understand industry and healthcare trends and hospital/clinic operations.
• Follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion.
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and keep profiles updated.
• Demonstrate understanding of Amgen Performance selling platform.
• Operate within the approved expense budget aligned with POA priorities.
• Prioritize activities and follow up with customers.
• Pursue ongoing product knowledge and training to drive development.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans

• Contribute to cluster/territory teams and Marketing, Medical Affairs/Value & Access teams to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities
• Engage with peers and District Manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge
• Demonstrate an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate
• Follow through on customer commitments and request in a timely fashion
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date
• Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen Performance for selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs
• Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities
• Seek inputs and assistance to prioritize activities in a timely fashion and follow-up with customers
• Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs to drive own development

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree
• Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job with track record of success demonstrated consistency of achieving results.
• Experience in Cardiovascular, Endocrinology or Biotechnology related field is preferred.
• Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Hold self-accountable for achieving established goals
• Demonstrate time management skills in terms of prioritizing activities and completing work in a timely manner; meet deadlines
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences
• 2-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
• Exposure to interactions with various fields and organizational levels
• Exposure to project management principles
• Demonstrated resilience in sophisticated environments
• Demonstrated high learning agility
