Job summary

APM Monaco, a contemporary fashion jewelry brand, seeks a Customs & Logistics Specialist to manage UAE import/export operations from Dubai Free Zone. Office-based role focusing on end-to-end customs, documentation, HS coding, and cross-functional liaison.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, ensuring compliance, using ERP/WMS, and driving efficiency in shipments while maintaining records and regulations. Fluency in English and Chinese is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, customs clearance, or logistics management systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end customs operations for import and export activities, including declarations, clearance, document prep, and shipment tracking.
• Review and verify import/export documentation for accuracy, compliance, and consistency; develop templates and SOPs as required.
• Classify products using HS Codes and support customs valuation and duty assessment processes.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor shipment status from arrival through customs clearance and final release; manage inspections, amendments, duty payments, and information requests.
• Maintain accurate customs records and ensure UAE customs regulations, free zone requirements, and company policies are followed.
• Use ERP systems and logistics platforms to process transactions, maintain shipment records, and generate reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize clearance efficiency and performance.

About the Role:

• Full-time contract
• Office-based
• work location: Dubai DCC E-commerce Free Zone

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end customs operations for import and export activities, including customs declarations, customs clearance, document preparation, and shipment progress tracking.
• Review and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other customs-related documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency. Develop and maintain documentation templates and SOPs as required.
• Perform product classification using Harmonized System (HS) Codes and support customs valuation and duty assessment processes.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders, Customer Service and IT etc, to resolve customs and shipment-related issues efficiently.
• Monitor shipment status from arrival through customs clearance and final release, proactively managing customs inspections, document amendments, duty payments, and requests for additional information.
• Maintain accurate customs records and ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, free zone requirements, and company policies.
• Utilize ERP systems and related logistics platforms to process transactions, maintain shipment records, and generate operational reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize customs clearance efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or a related field. Experience within UAE customs and free zone environments is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, Incoterms, HS Code classification, customs valuation principles, and international trade documentation.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, customs clearance, or logistics management systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
