Job summary

KONE in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Senior Product/Engineering Specialist to drive non-standard elevator and energy-efficient solutions. You will collaborate with sales and engineering, selecting the right product platform and ensuring competitive offers while shaping detailed non-standard specs.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelors in engineering, 5 years in the elevator industry, and strong CAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years' experience in elevator industry and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of elevator/escalator and Advanced People Flow solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Find the optimal KONE product to meet non-standard Special Engineering requirements.
• Select the correct product platform and ensure the offer is competitive.
• Understand materials and service costs for product costing in non-standard cases.
• Create detailed non-standard product plans and specifications.
• Perform initial and revised non-standard energy calculations and simple traffic analyses.
• Coordinate product lead times from Supply Line and local sourcing.
• Ensure proposed products can be installed and compliant with local codes and safety requirements.
• Provide content for pre-booking reviews and support holistic product planning.
• Share knowledge with maintenance and provide technical trainings as needed.
