Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking an Assistant Cultural Programme Manager to support planning, development, and execution of a diverse events programme for Members, both within and outside the Club. The role encompasses creative planning, logistics, and administrative responsibilities to ensure alignment with brand values and active member engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cultural programming.
• Strong understanding of local culture, traditions, and heritage.
• Experience in cultural events, workshops, and activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage guests and create meaningful cultural experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Cultural Programming in devising, planning, and delivering a dynamic programme of talks, debates, performances, workshops, and events covering art, science, politics, business, fashion, music, technology, and current affairs.
• Assist in curating events that appeal to varied demographics while maintaining cultural integrity and brand alignment.
• Contribute creative ideas for programming themes, speaker selection, member experiences, and new formats.
• Demonstrate leadership during event planning and onsite execution, guiding junior staff and collaborating with internal teams.
• Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, equipment, vendor liaison, and setup requirements.
• Liaise with Marketing, Private Events, Membership, F&B, Operations to ensure promotion and coordination.
• Compile and share programming content with Marketing for newsletters, website, social media, and printed booklets.
• Build and maintain networks with speakers, artists, and cultural partners to enhance opportunities.
• Engage with members during events, gathering feedback for future programming.
