Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in the UAE invites applications for a Commis III Intern. This entry-level culinary trainee role supports the kitchen team, gaining hands-on experience in food preparation, hygiene, and service standards within a luxury destination.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in or have recently completed a culinary or hospitality program, with a willingness to learn, basic English, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a culinary, hospitality, food-service, or related training program.
• Basic interest in food preparation and professional culinary operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food-preparation tasks under supervision.
• Wash, peel, cut, weigh, portion, label and store ingredients.
• Support mise en place and prep kitchen sections before service.
• Assist with basic cooking, plating and garnishing when trained.
• Follow recipes, standards and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and hygiene standards.
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.
