Job summary

Flip retail in Dubai seeks a Crypto Operations Manager to lead day-to-day crypto procedures, partner with venues for USD and coin settlement, and drive improvements to risk controls and compliance.

You will coach a team of Crypto Operational Specialists, collaborate with engineering and data teams for reporting tools, and work with fraud and compliance to sustain AML/KYC programs.

A 2+ year crypto operations/risk background and 5+ years in operations are required, with ADGM/FSRA law knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operational and risk experience in crypto context.
• 5+ years experience in handling operations.
• ADGM and FSRA Laws expertise is compulsory.
• Substantial experience developing, releasing, and automating functional systems and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and data for reporting and tooling.
• People management experience.
• Solid written and spoken communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Look after everyday cryptocurrency procedures, including USD and coin settlement with venues.
• Identify and implement campaigns to enhance operational procedures and lower operational risk.
• Monitor operational and risk metrics and raise potential issues or anomalies.
• Support new crypto initiatives from an operational, risk, and compliance perspective.
• Partner with customer experience and content teams to improve crypto-related interactions.
• Maintain and develop running procedures to align with supervisory compliance.
• Collaborate with treasury, operations, and security to manage liquidity and reduce crypto risk.
• Work with fraud and compliance teams to implement a durable AML/KYC program for crypto.
• Evaluate controls to ensure high-quality deployments across locations.
• Coach and manage a team of Crypto Operational Specialists.
