Job summary

Bitexen MENA and Bitexen Custody seek an experienced Compliance Manager to support compliance across both entities in Abu Dhabi. You will drive AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, and regulatory reporting, collaborating with local management and global teams.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on crypto industry experience, and ADGM framework expertise. On-site work in Abu Dhabi is required, with oversight of policy and risk controls across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional compliance experience in crypto or regulated financial services.
• Direct cryptocurrency/digital asset industry experience is essential.
• Experience with ADGM licensing and regulatory engagement.
• Hands-on experience in AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, and financial crime risk management.
• On-site work in Abu Dhabi is required.
• CAMS or equivalent professional compliance certification.
• Degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day compliance across Bitexen MENA and Bitexen Custody.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ADGM regulatory requirements.
• Maintain AML/CFT and broader compliance framework for both entities.
• Oversee KYC, KYB, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring and investigations.
• Identify and manage regulatory, AML/CFT and financial crime risks.
• Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments across activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into controls.
• Prepare compliance reports and regulatory submissions as required.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits and information requests.
• Act as a contact with regulators, auditors and advisers.
• Manage relationships with external compliance partners and tech providers.
• Promote a strong compliance culture across both entities.
• Continuously improve compliance processes as environment evolves.
