Emerald Zebra - Cyprus (Group) in Dubai is seeking a Group Chief Risk Officer to build and lead a global risk function onsite. The CRO will own risk across market, liquidity, operational, cyber and regulatory domains, reporting to the Group CEO with final sign-off on launches, leverage parameters, listings and treasury exposure.

• Strong working knowledge of market-making mechanics liquidity provider integration and institutional flow.
• Quantitative grounding in margining stress testing and risk models.
• Technical fluency around matching engines pricing feeds bridges blockchain custody and transaction risk.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the Group risk framework across market, liquidity, operational, cyber, regulatory and credit risk with a three-lines-of-defence structure.
• Operate real-time risk engines for FX, CFDs and crypto assets; monitor price manipulation, latency and insider risk; implement kill switches and ADL rules.
• Oversee treasury and liquidity across fiat and digital assets; onboard counterparties including liquidity providers, market makers and custodians.
• Lead and develop a 24/7 global risk team across Dubai, India and Europe; ensure disciplined, data-driven risk decisions under pressure.

Group Chief Risk Officer FX CFD & Crypto Trading Group Dubai (Onsite)

A high-growth multi-asset trading group is hiring a Group Chief Risk Officer to build and lead its global risk function.

This is a build mandate. The CRO will own every dimension of enterprise risk across the group: trading risk market surveillance liquidity treasury counterparty operational cyber regulatory and digital asset custody. The role reports into the Group CEO and carries final sign-off authority on product launches leverage parameters new token listings and treasury exposure.

What we are looking for

15 years in risk management with significant leadership tenure inside a global trading platform FX or CFD broker bank trading division or crypto exchange. Comfortable across multi-jurisdiction regulatory frameworks. Strong working knowledge of market-making mechanics liquidity provider integration and institutional flow. What you will own

Group risk framework across market liquidity operational cyber compliance and credit risk with a three-lines-of-defence architecture risk appetite statements capital buffers stress testing and escalation protocols.

Real-time risk engines for FX CFDs crypto spot and perpetuals margin lending and copy trading including surveillance for price manipulation wash trading latency abuse and insider activity plus kill switches risk halts and ADL rules.

Treasury and liquidity oversight across fiat and digital assets counterparty onboarding for liquidity providers market makers and custodians intraday funding controls and stress liquidity rules.

Full ownership of the Fireblocks policy engine MPC workflow controls wallet segregation across retail institutional and treasury and emergency protocols.

Multi-regulator engagement audit trail integrity incident reporting and direct relationship management with variousregulators as the group expands.

BCP DRP vendor risk infrastructure risk scoring and data protection controls across all markets.

Recruitment and leadership of a 24/7 global risk team across Dubai India and Europe spanning market risk liquidity operational risk regulatory risk technology and cyber risk model validation and surveillance.

The right person leads with brutal clarity builds disciplined and data-driven teams and is willing to hold the line on risk decisions under commercial pressure.

Package
